Encore Chorale at Washington Conservatory at Glen Echo Park

Encore Creativity for Older Adults and the Washington Conservatory of Music are pleased to join forces to present offer the Encore Chorale at Glen Echo Park. Join this chorale and be among nearly 1,000 older adult singers who meet weekly around the MD/DC/VA area to explore their voices and learn challenging and fun choral repertoire under professional conductors Jeanne Kelly and Jeffrey Dokken. Chorale Masters are Larry Halloran and David Laroche. If you have sung sometime in your life, want to return to singing, or have sung your entire life, join the Encore Chorale at Washington Conservatory at Glen Echo Park.

The class is instructive as well as enjoyable. Learn proper breathing techniques and how to improve your speaking and singing voice as Kelly and Dokken guide singers through weekly rehearsals in  four-part singing.
 
There are currently 15 Encore Chorales in Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia and 5 ENCORE ROCKS programs, plus affiliate programs in Hudson, OH; Reading, PA; Dubuque, IA; Salt Lake City, UT; Chicago, IL, Highlands Ranch and Littleton, CO; and Santa Clarita, CA.

Encore Chorale Open to ALL!!  No auditions required.
 
Participants must be 55 or older. Singers can be seated for rehearsals and performances.
 
Rehearsals - Thursdays, 1:00-2:30pm
 
Semester begins September 7, 2017

Tuition: $185.00 for 15 weeks
Plus Glen Echo Park Registration Fee: $13.00
