Sponsors WelcomeThroughout 2017, Encore will celebrate 10 successful years!  We are thrilled to provide a program that continues to inspire creativity and joy.  Over the past 10 years Encore has grown – now serving 10 counties in Maryland, Virginia and DC, with just over 1000 singers each year!  Our free concerts bring in an average of 4,000 audience members in December and May and we continue to hear from our national affiliates about their success.

We thank our currents sponsors who have decided to support Encore. If you'd like to know more about these sponsors, click on their links below.

Sponsorship helps Encore continue to offer free community concerts, presenting polished, highly professional performance to appreciative audiences. Being a sponsor this year will be a wonderful opportunity for organizations and businesses to be highlighted to thousands of singers and their family and friends.  Sponsorships are also critical in supporting financial aid for those who would not otherwise be able to sing with Encore Chorale and Encore ROCKS.

If you have a business or organization that might be a good fit to sponsor Encore, the office staff can put the right package together for you. All sponsorship benefits are offered for a full year after Encore receives a sponsorship, so it is never too late in the season to become a sponsor of Encore! About Encore

2014-12-23-Kennedy Center-031-1

Encore is dedicated to providing an excellent and accessible artistic environment for older adults, 55 and over, regardless of experience or ability, who seek arts education and performance opportunities under a professional artist. Encore is an IRS 501(c)(3) nonprofit tax exempt organization.

All Encore programs are conducted by professional artists who will know how to get the most from their members. So come join the excitement, either as a beginner or at an advanced level. This is an excellent way to learn how to develop or improve your musical abilities, meet new friends, and look forward to an exciting performance schedule.

You’re never too old to try something new—and have the time of your life!

"In case you're worried about what's going to become of the younger generation, it's going to grow up and start worrying about the younger generation." Roger Allen

As of September 2017, Encore has fifteen Chorale locations in the DC/VA/MD area, as well as six Encore ROCKS locations. Additionally, Encore continues to expand across the nation, with Affiliate Chorales at Laurel Lake Retirement Community in Hudson, OH; Reading, PA;  Littleton and Highlands Ranch, CO; Santa Clarita, CA; and six Encore Chorales and two Encore ROCKS in the Chicago area. With over 1,200 singers, we believe we are the largest choral organization in the U.S.!

If you have sung sometime in your life, want to return to singing, or have never sung outside the shower, join our other music enthusiasts for weekly instructional class/rehearsals with our seasoned and professional conductors.

The Chorale classes, designed for adults 55 years and above, are educational as well as enjoyable. Participants learn proper breathing techniques and how to improve their voice through correct tone production as their conductor guides them through weekly rehearsals in three- and four-part singing. The season concludes with combined performances with other Chorales as well as local concerts at most Chorale locations.

Be a part of a true harmonic convergence-if you can talk, you can sing!
